Draco's betrayal Empty
PostSubject: Draco's betrayal   Draco's betrayal Icon_minitime22/01/12, 06:20 pm

Draco, the young omega padded along the forest, feeling uneasy. Behind him, Centaurus was following, treating Draco like a son to himself. He followed Dracos every move, and comforted him at all times. Centaurus had never had pups in his time as alpha, and Draco was the youngest in the pack. Centaurus nuzzled Dracos neck as he followed along, nose up and tail alert. Draco padded over to the water, lapping it up ever so gently with his tongue before following the scent of a carcass. Draco soon saw an advantage, considering the beta was a female if he.. disposed, of Centaurus he would be able to rise as the alpha with the alphess, Rumour by his side. But, Draco was too young to do such, so he continued on. Just then, suddenly, a helicoptor swooped overhead, Draco dissapearing in an instant and before Centaurus could know why.. a loud *bang* echoed through the forest. The whine of the alpha pierced through the trees and all the birds flew away. The whine turned to a howl before a *thump* was then heard from the alpha falling, blood tricking from his side. Centaurus kept his eyes open enough to see Draco, standing above him but barely even noticing him. Centaurus gasped, Draco had betrayed him. After all he had done Draco had let his closest companion die at the feet of man. Centaurus's vision went blurry and the last thing he thought he saw was Draco chuckling before walking away. Then the cold took over Centaurus's brain and life was drained from his heart. He emitted another quiet yelp before drifting away, body dead and lifeless.

Actually, Cent, he's not.

In the wild, it's a wolves(and most other social pack.herd/pride animal)to rise to the strongest rank, mate, pass on your genes, and die. This doesn't happen over the course of every wolves life, but this is how nature and God wish it.

Yeah, well... I don't think wolves in the wild leave their pack members to die.
