Medieval Ages: The Forbidden Love [MexChloe] [Active]

Deep in the village named Contwaraburg laid a King and a Queen, and a beautiful young princess who next to become queen. The young beautiful princess stood at height 5''4, with skin color known as tan, and her eye color bright light green which was noticeable to see from a -very-short distance. Small lips full with colorful pink and pure, it looked even more beautiful. Breast cup size C to D. Her father's kingdom was strong and had impressive soldiers that stood tall and proud before there kingdom and their king. Her father was a brave man, full of pure and glory, and before his people. He was a hard-working man that never really had the chance to pay attention to his family, mainly his people. However, the young princess' mother still loved him. Still, her father was still known for power and (full) control when it came to war and winning; he took no joke when it came to his kingdom and protection to keep it safe and out of harms way. Though, the young princess consider herself different from them....

Princess Celestia was a beautiful young women, but a quiet rather shy one. She was now around that age to commit a sign or marriage and start her own kingdom, following her parent's footsteps. Her parents was very demanding people, King and Queen, and took things very seriously. There would be some point that would be nice and be very friendly, but they're still good people to trust and talk to. Celestia however felt pretty annoyed with her mother sometimes. She would really hate about the fact that her mother would take this 'acting all women' way to far. Yes, Celestia does acts like a proper women and decent even around other kingdoms, but thinks she doesn't really the help nor need the extra help become a extravagant women, like her mother. Instead, she wanted to be different. Though, she wasn't sure if was ready to be married with a man to forever love. Her father was pressuring her way to much about the marriage and her becoming a young women soon about start her very own life. And hoping one day to have grandchildren. Celestia wasn't really sure if she would ever have children, because she wouldn't won't to be stress. You also say Celestia was quite the picker.

Ever since the day has came Celestia's father, King George, has recently announced about the big soon for Celestia and was currently available to marry, Celestia couldn't be more embarrass than her entire life. She wondered if any particular young man would be interested her in and would be interested of marrying her, however, in the meantime, she didn't mind patiently waiting. At least she had more time to do some things she could do before doing things that deal with working. Why wouldn't she?

But as time passed and search still continued at that moment, Celestia mother died from a sickness that was rare and died quietly that night.The death of her mother caused pain for her father's soul, the search on for the marriage was cancelled for now and Celestia was glad on other hand, but still sad her mother died.

In the kingdom Horrenteire, was the prince William, known as Will. And his well respected brother. Whom Will hated. There was also a princess, Mercia, of the kingdom who was still young but was dearly loved by Will. The king, called Henry was serious and is constantly pushing his sons around. Usually the older brother, as he is next in line, and has to impress another kingdom so he can marry a worthy princess. Their mother, Merida, was kinder, and liked to help her people and children whenever she could. She was well known for being a kind hearted person.

Will's love went to a girl in another kingdom that his kingdom was battling against. It was devastating for him, and it was a huge secret and if his father found out, he would most likely be executed for it so he was incredibly careful. Will had light brown eyes that seemed to sparkle when the moon was out; and his hair went perfectly with his eyes. His muscles were large, and girls seemed to drop to his feet when they got the rare chance to see them. But he didn't want them which his family thought unusual; there were many beautiful women in the kingdom. But to Will, looks weren't always everything.

Will travelled regularly on his beautiful large horse, Autumn. Usually hunting or foraging; or just for him to have a travel around and to observe his love; his favourite pass time. He just wished his brother would keep out of his way, he always seemed to be getting into Will's business. But his little sister Mercia was always there for him.

He hoped one day he and his lover could be one and be accepted.. Maybe marriage.. But for now, his kingdom and Contwaraburg were getting tense and are engaging in battle. So his love for their princess was unheard of.

Lucas' POV(Point of view)



"Ah, the weather is full with delight. Right, Brother?" Lucas, the older brother of William's, who was chosen to be next king yet evil. In his hands he held a perfect apple. As he ride freely with one hand holding the apple and the other holding tightly on the reins, the wind blowing quietly to his face, his silver Armour shine brightly in the sunlight's glare as they rode off. And was enjoying the fact by the small bounces his horses, Prim, was causing when every time she took off like a free horse. He smiled quietly to himself. As the brothers rode by each side and looking for something entertaining to do or comes into sight, Lucas in the meantime decided to crunch in his perfect apple and eat peacefully to himself until further notice. He chewed roughly on his apple. "Brother, tell me this, are you still looking for that special someone?" He asked, crunching into his apple again before looking back at him. His dark eyes heating on him as he waited for an answer.

Ever sine his father's kingdom was attacking King George's kingdom, Lucas heard news about the king's daughter looking for someone to married -but ever since his wife has died from a terrible sickness it was sent off for now. However, he was quite exicted to meet her. In meantime, Lucas continued to wait for his brother's answer.

Ever though Lucas was technically the "evil' brother he hated to be patient. And hated the fact how his brother act sometimes, for example. Women. -Lucas was ladies men and loved any type of princess or women that catches his interest. To be honest, he didn't care if they were all beautiful. But for his brother, it was different story. At least he (Lucas) had the better looks. Even though his brother still got the 'big" muscles and "better" looks as him, Lucas still got the looks and attractiveness.

"By the way, where the bloody hell are we going?"

William's POV

Will's mind was somewhere else, occupied by the princess, Celestia. He blinked, coming back to reality, "indeed." He preferred small talk with his brother. He rode with his brother around the beautiful green landscape. He had to think about the question, he couldn't tell him the truth. He was probably the worst person to tell that the enemy kingdom's princess was his love. He turned his head to his brother to make the lie more realistic, "Yes, I still haven't met the one yet. And you, brother?" Will asked while responding to the next question. "No where in particular. Just admiring the surroundings. How about we hunt for something to let our servants have a rest?" Will asked while he patted his horse, Autumn. Will wondered if his father was going to try and get Lucas married to a certain girl. But he soon got bored of thinking about it. Will got Autumn to do a slow walk, "may i ask how you feel about the princess Celestia?" Will asked, with some annoyance in his voice he couldn't help.




Mercia's POV

Mercia sat by herself in the grass outside, both her brothers took after her father with brown hair and brown eyes. While she took after her mother; bright piercing blue eyes with striking blonde hair that fell over her shoulders. Though her brothers personalities weren't the same. She loved her brother Will but Lucas sometimes irritated her, but still loved him nevertheless. She couldn't hate her own brother. She was about to close her eyes and enjoy the sun when a voice made her jump. It was mother.
"Darling, you're going to get your beautiful hair dirty. Be careful of the dirt."
"Yes mother, I'm sorry. I like resting here. It's peaceful." Mercia stretched her arms after she sat up.
"It's alright, darling. It's only a warning." Mercia turned to her mother, grinning her angelic smile. "Thank you!" Mercia laid back down, but closer to the pond that was nearby. Mercia thanked her mother since her father would have said something meaner. But usually father cared more about her brother's. Luckily he was more laid back with Mercia. But one bad thing came out of it: she couldn't leave the kingdom until she was older and she had to go with someone who was male. Father didn't and never ever would understand that girls could be strong too. Mercia could take care of herself but she guessed she would have to prove that.. She awaited for her brother's return. Maybe they would bring something tasty to eat home like they sometimes did? She hoped so. She was starting to get hungry.

Lucas' POV

Once again Lucas crunched into his apple again and roughly chewed on it before speaking. He eyed his brother "Me either." He answered truthfully, admitting he haven't found the 'perfect' women..yet. "Hopefully if she catches my eye one day.." He then added with a snort. "One day..." -He mumbled- Taking his final bite of the apple before slamming the muddy ground beneath him, he disgustingly sneer at the apple as if it did something to him. "Damn bloody thing lost its taste.." He spatted with a mumble as left the bitten up apple to rotten and dissolve into the soil's ground while two brothers moved on, leaving it behind. When Lucas' heard William comment about hunting something for dinner tonight before giving a pat to his horse; he slowed down his horse, at the same pace with Will's, and thought. "Fair enough, let's hunt" he announced with a cheesy grin.

When Lucas was about to go ahead and search for any nearby living food that came to sight, he soon halted and sharply turned to his Brother when he mention about Princess Celestia. His heart began to rapid fast. "Uh, Princess Celestia -well, um...I guess she's a well-behaved young women. -Well-treated and self-respect. However, beautiful as well. And is certainly proper comparing to the rest of Princess around here..." He grumbled, but it was true. Just by listing all the truths and facts about the Celestia herself, a soft spark inside him soon turned into shivers. He sighed. Hopefully she turns to be his Queen...one day. "And what do you think of her?" He quietly repeated the question back to him, also wondering the same.

Willam's POV

Will looked around for animals to hunt, he saw a rabbit but that was only a good meal for one or two people. He nodded to his brother, did a good personality matter to him? Or was it just looks? He couldn't care right now anyway. Will listened to his brother's reply carefully; raging inside. "What I think?" Will said lifting an eyebrow. He sighed, but quickly spotted a deer grazing when him and his brother stopped their horses to talk about Celestia. He quickly grabbed his dagger and launched it at the deer, luckily aiming for the neck for a quick death. Will had a gift at throwing daggers and such. He looked to his brother and tried to keep as calm as possible "does it even matter what I think? You're the first born and will be marrying the Woman. Not me.." Will finished his last sentence with a sad tone. He panicked, hoping his sad voice wouldn't give anything away. "Anyway," Will slid off Autumn and strolled to the now dead deer. "Let's get this back home before Mercia eats Mother." Will heaved the deer onto his back and he walked over to Autumn. He carefully placed the deer onto Autumn's croup. Will slid himself onto Autumn again. "Shall we?" Will said turning Autumn round and going back home with a slow trot, making sure the deer didn't fall.

Mercia's POV

Mercia awaited at the stables, knowing her brothers will be back soon and would be putting their horses inside. She made sure they both had water and hay to eat. She heard horse's hooves. She spun round, and ran outside. "Finally! You two took your time!" Mercia complained in a teasing way. "I see you've brought something to eat, put the horses back and bring it inside." Mercia opened the stable door for Autumn and for Lucas's horse. She waited for Will to get the deer. "Do you need help?" Mercia asked. She saw Will shake his head. "Father is cranky right now.. I think he needs something to eat. Take it to the servants," Mercia told Will in a bossy manner. She didn't really mean any harm, but sometimes she didn't realise how annoying she could be. Mercia would put the horses in the paddock later, after her meal.

Lucas' POV

"Impressive." Lucas commented when he watched his brother shot the dagger towards the deer's neck and didn't make a single flinch when it perfectly aim for deer's neck with a bloody sight. He turned to his brother, then. "Maybe...-Maybe not-" he responded his brother with sympathy before he watched his brother slid down of Autumn and went to retrieve the deer in order from them to take home and serve it to their family. While Lucas patiently waited on for his brother to grab the deer and hook it up to his horse, he for now thought back on Princess Celestia conversation for a couple of seconds before he could ever go back to reality. He then quietly smiled to himself. Once Will was back with the deer and commented about his little sister "eating" his mother; he let out a loud laughter and rounded his horse the other direction. "We shall" He answered and followed Will back home, but keeping behind the deer in case a predator tries to come and take it.

The ride wasn't long when they finally arrived home and meeting their little sister there, who complained the brothers took their sweet time to come home. -He had to sneer at her. "Calm down, Sister, the weather was full with delight," he stated truthfully after hopping off his horse and telling one of his personal guards to take it inside the stables. "She's such a brat sometimes, I swear" he mumbled to Will as he carried the deer inside and walking by his side. He glanced over to his sister, he wondered what's wrong with his old man now. "By the way, what's wrong with Father?" He asked

William's POV

Will didn't say anything about Mercia being a brat, as his thoughts of her were different. She was like this when she was hungry. He looked to his sister, also wanting to know the answer. He saw Mercia sigh.
"I'm unaware of the problem. But from a mere guess, it may him being worried about how the princess.. Uh.. Celestia is going to feel about you. I think he wants you to impress her." Will saw Mercia looking to his brother; he wished it was him whom would be trying to impress her. Will felt a unwanted pang in his heart. And it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to hold the deer. "I'll take this to the servants now, I'll meet you both at the dining table in a couple minutes." Will sped up his walking speed, doing an awkward walk run to get away from the conversation about Celestia.

Mercia's POV

Mercia raised an eyebrow but felt suddenly bad for her brother. "Did I say something that hurt him?" Mercia said sadly. She went inside the dining room with her brother Lucas. She sat down in one of the chairs, mother and father were already there. She was about to sit down when..
"Mercia?!"
Mercia jumped up, her heart thumping. "Y-Yes father?" She said, feeling an uneasy chill go up her spine.
"Did you thank your brothers for bringing home a meal?" Father asked.
Mercia gulped, she must have noticed Will bringing it inside. She tried to think back.. No, she hadn't thanked them.
"How very rude of me. Thank you Lucas. I-I'll thank Will in-"

William's POV

"Thank me? What have I done to deserve it?" Will asked.
"For bringing home food.." Mercia told him.
"Oh- that was merely nothing." Will saw his father look at him in a disapproving way. He didn't want father pushing Mercia around so he sat down and waited for his meal.
He had a feeling Celestia was going to get brought up in conversation again.. He hoped not.


The servants didn't take too long, and they brought in their meal. Will sadly looked at his meal; it was just a matter of time before Lucas got to meet Celestia.

Lucas' POV

It was strange to see his brother in this kind of moment. Was there something wrong? Or was it the fact he probably had feelings for Celestia also? It was strange for Lucas to understand because whenever Lucas' would want to talk about Princess Celestia, he would try to keep his cool and not speak it front of Will as far as possible. However, when Williams speaks or asks about Celestia himself, he eventually would have some type of moody feeling. But, it was really strange indeed. He turned to his sister after the short scene of his brother retreating. He shrugged. "I don't think so...Maybe his a bit moody. Let's good inside" And with that, the two brother and sister went inside. Once he stepped, he instantly saw his both parents quietly sitting together, waiting for their children...as usual. He smiled. "Good evening, Mother and Father" He walked over to his mother and kindly kissed her on the cheek, before walking to his seat. His eyes soon trailed back to his sister.

He smiled then. "Well, it wasn't to much trouble at all. Will did mostly the work..." He answered truthfully clearing his throat, but had to chuckle a bit when he saw he sister's reaction by the surprise startle. Once Lucas was able to recognize William arrival he turned his head slightly to William, with a finger over his lips as he watched him cautiously before looking away. Luckily, it didn't take to long for the servants to prepare the food for the royal family. Lucas was already starving for god sakes. When the servants finally brought the food and everyone got their own dish, Lucas didn't hesitate but dig in.

William's POV

Will was about to put another piece of delicious meat in his mouth but what his father said made him go white.
"Lucas, after you're meal we will leave to meet princess Celestia. Make me proud, son." Will couldn't think of any words to say.
"F-Father. May I come with you to their kingdom? I-I'll go with you and.." Will was thinking of an excuse. "I'll protect you both. I mean you don't want to go and if somebody cares to attack you, you don't want to arrive dirty, do you? Princess Celestia will not even consider his hand in marriage. She won't want someone untidy." Will sat up, looking like his usual self to make sure his father believed his lie.
The king squinted his eyes in thought. The Queen nudged him, "let dear Will go," Mother whispered in his ear. Will waited, his heart pounding against his chest.
"Very well. You may join us. Finish your meals and we will leave." Father turned to Mercia, "make sure you stay inside this kingdom, there's no excuse for you to come along."
Will turned to his sister, seeing sadness across her face but she kept quiet. Will felt bad, but the only women on his mind at the very moment was Celestia. He ate so fast he nearly choked. Will finished, and looked to his father and brother. "Are we leaving?" Will asked like a child wanting to go outside to play.
"Yes. Very well, Lucas are you ready to leave? We'll set out on our horses - if you're ready to leave, you may lead us there. I'm presuming you know the way? If not, I'll lead the way." Father said, dusting his clothes and standing up. Will almost jumped up, but tried to keep as natural as possible through his excitement.

Lucas' POV

Listening to His Father's words made a smile grow on Lucas' lips when he took a sip of his red wine. His mind was already thinking about Princess Celestia and wondered how was he going to win over her heart, in order take her hand in marriage. Surely it wasn't going to be easy, but time was quickly ticking and fast. He needed to make some kind of interest for the Princess Celestia to come appealed in. But what? While the young Prince thought hard, his eyes traveled to the anxious brother himself and furrowed his eyebrow at him; Lucas had a feeling he wanted to come along as well. Yet, the 'protection' that William mentioned surely didn't appeal any interest to Lucas as he wondered: What some sort of protection they need in a royal castle? It wasn't like they were going to battle or anything. Maybe it could be some kind of excuse? However, Lucas kept quiet and continued to think on what ways he could impress the Celestia herself. And drink some more of his red wine, which tasted delicious.

It wasn't long for Lucas to finally decided when it was time to go and head for the kingdom then. Clearly he was desperate himself. With that, when he raise from his seat and announced to his father and brother that he was ready to go. "Yes, we're leaving now, William." He turns his father with a small smirk. "Yes, Father. I can assure you I know my way by now" He softly chuckle before walking away to the outside of the castle, and luckily meeting his horse, Prim, there - as well with the other horses. He then mounts Prim and waits for the others.

Celestia POV

Princess Celestia laid peacefully in her comfortable bed, with her eyes closed and arms resting by her sides,  as her mind totally forgot about the "big day". One of her servants who worked for her, soon enters in the princess chambers and pulls downs the rope that made the curtains wide apart and bring the bright sunlight in. A low gorily groan soon escaped from the Princess lips as her arm covers over her eyes, blocking the bright light from touching them. The servant then snatches the thick covers from Celestia and flips it over, out of her reach. "My lady, you should be up by now! Your father is waiting for you downstairs - the guests would arrive any minute!" She explains, damping a cold rag over the Princess forehead. Celestia slowly flashes her eyes open, blinking. "They're coming today?" She asked. "Yes! - Now go take a quick bathe, I already prepare it for you" And walked away, hurrying out the door leaving Celestia alone again. She signs and begins to undress herself into pure nakedness. She then hops over the sliver tub and sinks herself into the warm water, washing herself up. Seconds later, the servant returns. "My lady, are you in the tube?" She asks, bringing out new clothes for her to wear. "Yes, Grace" She smiled, splashing a bit of water onto her body. "By the way, you're Father told me to tell you, that when the Prince arrives from the kingdom of Horrenteire, He wants you to act pleasant and respectable- Since, you know,having some difficulties with them-  " "Yes, yes, I know the rules" Celestia chatted. But was this she really wanted to do?

William's POV

Will stroked Autumn's mane, as she was getting shy seeing the King. "I'm afraid you'll have to be surrounded by people Autumn. You'll be okay." Will mounted his horse and went outside the stable. He almost forgot he wasn't leading the way. Unwillingly, he let his brother go in front and lead the way. He hoped you looked impressive, though that didn't really matter much.. He wouldn't be the one impressing Celestia.
"Everything alrighty, son? You've been staring at the road and bribe awfully quiet."
Will snapped up his head, "no, I feel just fine." Will held the reins on Autumn tighter. Why did he come? He was going to get his heart broken..

The three of them arrived at Contwaraburg, Will dismounted near the entrance of the kingdom and looked around, it looked just like he expected. He had only seen the castle and admired Celestia whenever she could be seen. Though, he never spoke to her.. He gulped, waiting for his Father and brother Lucas to lead the way.

Lucas' POV

Once Lucas hopped out his horse, Prim, and was now on his feet; he inhaled the sweet smell of the air and image he could smell the young Princess Celestia scent. He sighed with sweet success. "Ahh...Smells delightful, doesn't it?" He slowly grinned to himself as his head spun over toWill and teasingly smiled at him. He couldn't care less how he was feeling this moment; Lucas just mainly cared about Celestia. With that, He quickly walked to his father side and walked along to the castle's entrance, where there were two guards standing.

King George's POV

"My king," One of the guards spoke out, running towards his King's throne with a quick bow, in addition. "What is it?" The king spoke, rubbing his fingers together as snapped out of his thoughts and glanced at his guard. "My king, they are here" The guard reported. "Aye? They are." He asked, raising a sudden eyebrow. "What can they possibly want?" He questioned his Guard, who was breathing heavily after his quick jog to him. "My king, they are here to see Celestia...of course...You know, hand of marriage..." He whispered lowly. Memories began to flow back to the King's head. He shot up from his throne. "Oh yes, sorry - didn't get enough sleep" He commented, walking down the small flight stairs before walking to the guard. "Bring them forth" He yelled. And that's what the guards did. Where is Celestia?" The king wondered about this daughter.

Williams POV

Will waited, twiddling his thumbs and looking down at the ground, then looking up to the guards.
Will looked to his father with his brown eyes full of worry.
"Lucas, I want you to go inside first. I don't want her to mistake me as the prince. Though you can't have a face like mine until you get old." King Henry chuckled to himself. Will laughed nervously. Though he didn't find it particularly funny, he didn't want to be nervous so he was hoping a laugh might make his emotions stop. But it didn't. He gulped. Will waited until his brother went inside first, and he would follow behind.

Mercia's POV

Mercia was suspicious of her mother, she cleaned herself in the bath and put on some comfy clothes which were made out of wool. She would usually wear clothes made out of wool for bed. She walked into her mother's room. "Mother, why did you allow Will to go to Contwaraburg?" Mercia asked curiously.
Mother giggled, "that boy, I just know it, has feelings for the princess." Mother turned to get wooly clothes too.
"W-what?! How did you know?! Why??" Mercia had so many questions.
"It was easy, he usually lies badly. I just want him to be happy."
Mercia only got simple answers, but it was all she needed to know. "I won't tell Father." Mercia promised without Mother even asking, but if Father heard her say that he would be enraged.

Lucas' POV

Lucas quietly took a chuckle at his Father's comment before stepping inside the castle once the guards opened the door for them. Going inside the castle first and leading himself to the throne room as a guard assisted them there , a smile soon crossed Lucas' lips when he saw King George standing in front his throne. However, the King didn't smile back in Lucas' favor. He instead glanced at him with a look. With that, Lucas watched as he stepped up. "I see you're here for my daughter. Why?" King George asked the Prince as his eyebrow squinted with curiosity. Lucas however didn't flinch or shivered at his such question. In fact, another smile parted his lips. "King George, I can assure I'm here for your daughter because I'm interest to see if she is willing for my hand of marriage." He said calmly. King George didn't speak afterwards. Just a "hmm...". Few minutes later, a sudden responded soon came King George. "And...What does King Henry think of this?" King George raised an eyebrow.

Celestia's POV

"My lady, is everything fine? I mean, is the dress comfortable enough?" One of the servants spoke as they fixed Celestia's dress and hair. Celestia couldn't help but stuck in her gut. "Uh, I'm not sure...It feels a little tight" Celestia spoke out truthfully, trying to breath in a few. With that being said, the servants then untied a few of knots and made it even more willing for the Princess to breathe. "How about now?" Celestia nodded, letting out a long trial of air. "Yes, much better.." Once the servants was finally finished with the princess dress, Celestia looked over to the mirror before her and smiled. "It's so beautiful. I'm so glad it isn't puffy." Thankfully, it was instead just right for Celestia to admire. The servants then chuckle. "Well, you should be off now" They spoke slowly, helping the Princess down. "Right..." She answered with a confident puff. Until suddenly,  one of the servant groans. "And us too. I'm pretty sure King George wants us to be there to serve the guesses."

William's POV

William made himself noticeable next to Lucas, but also kept his space between him and his father.
"As long as Princess Celestia accepts, I'm absolutely fine with what happens with them. If she declines the offer, we will happily leave. Hopefully that is not the case so our kingdoms can be at peace with each other."
Will knew what his father was talking about; their kingdoms were close to each other and it would benefit both kingdoms if they could be allies, which would usually be a Prince marrying the Princess of the other kingdom.
Will was disappointed.. Why couldn't he be the first born and be the one asking for her hand in marriage?! He frowned, but quickly straightened himself. He didn't want Celestia seeing him as angry. He lifted up his head from the ground and continued to wait.

Mercia's POV

Mercia went back to her room, seeing a servant quickly fixing her bed. "Hello Princess Mercia!" Mercia giggled, it looked like a new servant. She liked making new friends. "Honestly just call me Mercia! Apart from being around my father." Mercia told him.
"Yes pri- Mercia. It's nice to finally meet you. My name is Nathaniel. But call me Nat if you like. Or whatever else..." Mercia giggled again. She blushed a little, she couldn't help it. He was really cute, he had golden hair and it seemed he had golden eyes.. Maybe it was just the light but as he walked around they were the same.
"Wow your eyes are amazing!" Mercia noticed a blush appear across his cheeks.
"Thank you, I have to say the same about you too. By the way, I'm 16. I already know you're 13." Nathaniel smiled. Nathaniel remembered something, "oh! I have to go! Nice to talk to you. Let's talk again soon!"
"Goodbye." Mercia laid in her bed. She wished her father didn't have to choose whom her husband would be. But she had no choice.. He seemed like a nice guy.

Celestia's POV

Celestia began walking down the rich halls while her heart beaten rapidly. As she walked she was able to hear the soft voices of the men as they spoke, and knew they were waiting for her arrival for quiet some time now. Quickening her pace, she finally reaches to the throne room within seconds. And when she reached she then slower her pace before stopping a few inches away from her father. "Sorry for the wait...things to do." Celestia said as she announced her excuse, and moved her right hand over to her light brown hair and pushed it aside her shoulder. Her light green eyes gleamed at the two men as they stood before her; but didn't seem too flabbergasted by the idea of taking Lucas' hand in marriage. In fact, Celestia wasn't even sure if she was ready for marriage. But-she couldn't lie- they were handsome though and indeed muscular for any female drop down to their knees.

Lucas' POV

Lucas was beginning to become impatient: The eager desires of taking the princess' hand in marriage overwhelmed him as he continued to waited for the princess' arrival. Until suddenly, he heard something. Soft footsteps. Lucas' eyes quickly snapped to the footsteps as he assumed it could be Celestia; and it was! His dark eyes followed the movement of Celestia herself as it walked over to her father and stopped it from there. Lucas' body began to tingle inside. Just by glancing at her curvy body-a stinging shiver soon sparked his spine as it went down to his entire back. And to be honest, he truly admire her body and mostly her eyes. They were so bright. He soon couldn't help it but smiled, widely, and took a step forward for the princess. With his hand reaching out for the princess, he gently grabs her hands and smiles again, not leaving his eyes off of her. "It's quiet alright, dear. -It's a pleasure to meet you, Princess Celestia" He then plants a gentle kiss on her hand before pulling away.

William's POV

Will's eyes dilated, he was about to say something when his Father looked at him with disapproval. Will looked back to his Father, then turned away. "It sure is a pleasure to meet you." Will knew this was the only thing that his Father would allow him to say. Maybe he could guess Will had feelings for her? No, that was impossible. Will smiled brightly to the princess, when on the inside he felt empty; Celestia would never see him romantically. One day he may be seeing Lucas marrying his love. That thought felt like someone had just stabbed him in the chest. He wanted to compliment Celestia, he wanted to kiss her hand like Lucas, he wanted to be the first born.

"Please, excuse me," Will said with a lump in his throat. He walked outside, his heart pounding. What was he doing?! He had been wishing for this moment for months.. Before he could think, his Father grabbed him by the arm; dragging him softly back inside.
"Excuse my second son, sometimes he can be very unusual." King Henry proceeded to wait for Lucas, not even taking another look at Will.
Will was now in a incredibly awkward position; he seemed ignorant. There was no way Celestia would even want friendship with him.
But he decided to glance at Celestia again; she was even more beautiful and angelic close up. He felt his heart race; her eyes were a piercing green colour. He smiled; but his eyes were sad. He wasn't sure how to feel.

Celestia's POV

With a small bright small smile across on Celestia's lips she slowly retreats her hand out of Lucas' reach and gently rests it by her stand, her eyes not leaving Lucas. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Lucas" Her smile growing. She then glance over to William, who she found beginning to act strange; she was curious what was up with him but didn't want to bring it up at the moment. It looked he was having a bad day. Celesia wondered what she could do to help him out. In the meantime, she kept her attention on the "handsome" Lucas himself. Luckily, the servants managed to come out and serve out some wine to the gentleman, hopefully cutting the lack of awkwardness between them. "Wine?" A servant soon approached the Prince, holding a golden goblet in her hands.

Lucas' POV

It always to had to William himself, always starting something. He just need know when to embarrass him. The Great Prince. Lucas was starting to become annoyed with this. When he looked over to the servant, who was holding the goblet, he smiled and took it, taking a quick sip before paying his attention back at the Princess. "Ah...What a refreshment..." He chuckled before taking the Princess' hand again and wrapping it around him arm, making a firm link between them. He eyes quickly traveled towards his brother before making a quick serious face and looking away then. "Mind if we take a walk around your garden? Maybe we can discus more about each other from there?" He smiled, beginning to walk, keeping the same pace Celestia was walking in. Once it came clear with Celestia, he nodded his head and began walking to the royal garden. But when he was about to pass William, he then leaned side way and whispered something quietly in his ear. "Embarrass me; and still what would happen when we get home" And continued to walk on from there.

William's POV

Will continued to stare, too numb to care about anything. He only became conscious about the world around him when his brother whispered in his ear. He couldn't care, he didn't think his brother was that strong. Just all talk. "Whatever you want, dear brother." Will said in an irritated tone.
When they left, King Henry grabbed his son Will by the arm, "you're a disgrace, you know that? I knew I shouldn't have brought you. But I never thought you'd act in such a peculiar way. What is the reason to act like you did?"
Will listened to his father's harsh words, but acted normal. "Reasons? You don't need reasons," Will told his father simply, "how long will we wait like this until he returns?" Will said, honestly wanting to go back home. Celestia would never love him; especially not now. What was the use of him being here?
"Not everything is about you."
Will rolled his eyes, so that's what his Father thought? It was all about Celestia, not him. She was the reason he was acting like this. It wasn't her fault of course, but Will's actions were unpredictable when he was madly in love.

Mercia's POV

Mercia went into the stables, doing something to stop the boredom she was feeling. The only horse was her mother's horse, Apollo. She jumped in surprise.
"Nathaniel! What are you doing in here? You aren't allowed in here because you're new!" Mercia said trying to protect him, but then again her Father wasn't home and it was only him and her in the stables.
"I can't help it, I love horses.. I always wanted to have one. But I can't afford one. I'm sorry." Nathaniel was leaving and was about to go home.
"It's alright, I just didn't want to get you in trouble. But goodbye." Mercia shouted as Nathaniel was leaving the stables.
Nathaniel stopped and turned around, chuckling. "Don't worry I'm not upset. But can I ask why your name's Mercia? I've never heard of it before honestly."

Mercia giggled, "people ask that a lot. It means mercy. My Mother gave birth to me when the next day, my kingdom fought with another. I was the sign of hope apparently according to my parents and my brother Will. Since we had no chance against the other kingdom. Though we lost many soldiers, we managed to push through and won." Mercia explained the story and started to stroke Apollo.
Nathaniel raised an eyebrow, "well what an intriguing name, nevertheless." Nathaniel grinned. Then he left, waving. Mercia waved back and poured water into a bucket for Apollo. "There you go, boy. See you later." Mercia patted Apollo softly and went back inside her room.

Celestia's POV

It wasn't long for the Prince and Princess to return back to the castle after their long chat, while walking around the royal garden. Princess Celestia however didn't seem too enjoy their chat while they talked about "getting to know each other". Though, to tell the truth, the discussion actually wasn't really about getting to know each other, which Lucas said it would. In fact, it actually turned out to be Lucas doing most of the talking, as he talked about his personally life and soon being king. Not once Celestia managed to speak; she would always be cut off once she starts a sentence. And she,personally, just feel like this was like a waste of time, so which is why she decided to go back. But on other hand, she did admire hearing a few interesting facts about his background, which is good to know.

Entering the throne room, where her Father and others was still waiting, for their arrival, Celestia soon then walked by pass the men in silence as she continued to walk on, to her father and halted from there. She spins her head around and glares at the men - but mostly Lucas- and looks away from them afterwards. She exhales heavily. "Well Lucas, to tell truth, I don't have a answer,in mind, at this moment. But when I do, I'll let you know...If that's alright with you" She announces, wanting to clear and take the time she need before giving a straight up answer.

Lucas' POV

The walk around the royal garden was beautiful. Ever thing a royal kingdom could have there. And additionally, the conversation was really well pleasant; though Lucas wondered why Princess Celestia didn't speak. Actually- she hardly spoke at all. Was she shy? - That was only Lucas assumed but didn't mind. After the brief talk between, Lucas was rather disappointed when they had to head back for the throne room; he didn't want to go home at that point. But didn't argue. Whatever the princess wishes he might as well follow her lead. With that, they headed in. Watching as they walked quietly, Lucas' eyes began to watch the Celestia's body again as it moved, until it looked away since her father was there. Lucas founded him very strict and demeaning.

Listening to what the princess had to say after the small glare, Lucas again didn't argue; he instead gave a small nod. He couldn't blame her. With a warming smile, he then said, "Fair enough Princess, I guess then I should await once more?" He said, hating the fact he had to waited more. He wanted an answer now! "It's for the best" The princess responded, nodding. Lucas then sigh sadly. "Alright." And agreed with wait longer, until a final answer. But, how long is that for?

William's POV

Will smirked. His brother returned and he leant over whispering in Lucas's ear: "looks like you failed to impress, dear brother." Will taunted his brother, he usually wasn't like this, but this time, be couldn't help it. "You should be more patient, it's her choice, not yours. She deserves to choose for herself." Will said a little louder than expected. King Henry gave up with Will, he simply ignored him taunting his brother.

Mercia's POV

Mercia climbed into bed tiredly. They were taking a long time, but she didn't want to sleep until they came back. Mercia saw a servant at the door.
"Ma'm you haven't had any supper! Do you want any?"
"Yes, please bring me an apple."
The servant left and only after a couple minutes, she brought in an apple. Mercia was about to talk to her when she left. Mercia shrugged and sat by the glass window of her bedroom, staring outside. It was rare to have glass windows so she considered herself lucky that she was a princess. She couldn't stand it if she couldn't look outside her window. She munched on her apple, awaiting her Father and brothers return.

King George's POV

Now that King George was able to hear his daughter's final words, which made him shine brightly inside, he was already had that impatient mood, for his guest, and for them to leave already. He was hoping they would leave any minute; but for now was glad to hear what his daughter have to say for herself. With a sudden clap of his hands he rose from his chair and stood proudly, looking boldly at the three men with serious eyes. A smile soon widened his lips. "Well we can't argue with that, can't we?" The king smirked a little, "Therefor, when should we have this re-meet again, King Henry?" His eyes looked at King of the two sons.

Lucas' POV

Hearing the sudden voice of his brother's as he whispered a few things into his ears, Lucas' body boiled with rage as he was beginning to get on his last nerves. With his eyes slowly moving back and now starring at William, he released a low growl. "Don't test William. Mind your respect around Father..." He whispered back but a bit loudly. "And no, I did not fail to impress." And with that, he looked away, grinding his together as he fought hard from his previous comments. "I would like to see how you try..." He then says, after a few minute later, smirking a bit. "You would of probably fail yourself" And went to silence.

In the meantime, he focuses his attention to King George him. And bumps in afterwards, wanting this perfect before something could ever happened. "King George, how about this upcoming month?"

William's POV

Will was glad to hear he was getting on his brother's nerves. But he decided to stop, this wasn't the place to have another fight with his brother.
"Indeed, we shall have them meet again. I favour the date when the full moon is out."
Will turned to his father, so that meant they would be seeing each other again soon.
Will smirked, "I'm not here to impress dear brother. I'm here for true love," Will whispered, not realising he had gone too far this time, and he had just admitted his liking of Princess Celestia. He swallowed, hopefully his brother hadn't heard. Will went back to his usual, non-childlike self. And became serious, "no matter, I will return to Autumn."

Before Will left, he looked to Celestia, admiring her beauty for the last time before he would see her next. He wondered if she was also a beauty in the inside? He hoped he could find out. Will pulled an attractive yet romantic smile that belonged only to his love. Will left and he waited by Autumn near the entrance, he looked at the village in Contwaraburg, it was a nice place. Maybe better than his own. He awaited for Lucas and his Father's return to their horses too.


King Henry's POV

King Henry waited for Lucas to move along, so he could walk behind. "Until next time, King George."
He wondered if Will's actions today had a specific reason? He was starting to think about if it was the Princess? No, that would be idiotic of Will to love another Woman outside Horrenteire's walls. And against the law because he was the second born Prince and may not love another Princess from another kingdom.

Lucas' POV

Even though Lucas wanted to refute with his brother, part of him didn't want to. Not in front of the princess. It would be like he's a fighter, and not a lover. Lucas hated when his brother had to act like a show-off around others, and espically for Princess Celestia. It just wanted to make him more angry and just rip his head off. Though, it didn't make sense. What did he mean by true love? Did he also had feelings for her? No, he couldn't. It would be impossible, yet illegal, since he couldn't marry a princess another kingdom - like Father said so. But, for Lucas, it just means he just had to wait for an answer and an approval from the Princess.

Without further question, Lucas agreed to this discussion. He kindly bowed his head to the king and Princess, and walked up to the Princess, grabbing her head and kissing it before departing. "Farewell, Princess Celestia..." He smirked and walked away, out of his sight with his father behind. Stepping into the outside of the castle, where he met William and the other horses, he walked over to Prim while his eyes eyed his brother, giving him the early glare.

With the simple hop onto his horses and preparing for depart, he clucked his horse over to William's and stood besides it. He then looked forward and banged his hand against the back of the hard, whacking him but not to hard. "That's for embarrassing me back there" He snarled, not caring if Father was watching. "You act so foolish when you're around a girl."

Celestia's POV

Another re-meet? Ugh, this only meant more pressure for Celestia. And more thinking.

When she was about to depart for herself and march back to her room, for the night, she the came to a halt when she noticed Will pleasant smile. She couldn't help but smiled back. At least he was least annoying than Lucas. And speaking of Lucas, Celestia eyed him as he walked over to her direction and again kissed her hand, before departing and saying his farewells. She couldn't help but gave him a fake smile; a utterly disgusted one. He really thought she likes him, but she actually doesn't.

Once the men were out of the throne room and out of the castle, Celestia breathed out, exhaustively. She flops herself on her father's throne and buries her head into her hands and sighs. Her Father comes to her side and gently pats her shoulder, comforting her as she struggled. "You don't even want to know" Celestia said, a few seconds later. Her Father sighs. "I don't like him" He stated, sensing he'll be a bad husband for his daughter. "But...the other kid seem he liked you." His voice soon changing to a cheerful one. "I know," Celestia answered, "..he couldn't stop starring at me - not to say that's wrong though. Regardless of his starring, he also acted a bit weird. I hope he's alright." She added, stating what happened previously to recent.

Pausing to silence for a few minutes, Celestia then stands back up. "I'm going back to my quarters. I'll meet you back for supper." And walked away.
